Dear Highwood Families,

Our Lunar New Year Gala concert is quickly approaching and we will be in full rehearsals the first two weeks of January!  We invite all Highwood family and friends to join us at the concert on Tuesday, January 21 at 7:00pm at the Southern Jubilee Auditorium.  TICKET SALES START JANUARY 9 at 10:00am at: : https://www.ticketmaster.ca/event/1100618BCA2B2909

There are no limits to the number of tickets you can purchase, but please note the following:

  • Tickets can ONLY be purchased using your child’s CBE student ID number- therefore, this event is NOT open to the general public.  If you would like friends and family to attend, you must either purchase tickets for them or provide them with your child’s student ID number (this is not recommended, but up to you).
  • Because tickets are being sold through Ticketmaster, there are NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES, and the school is unable to help with ticket purchases.
  • All attendees must purchase a ticket regardless of age (i.e. babies and infants).
  • Tickets are $12 each (after taxes and fees).  A big thank you to School Council who have helped to offset some costs so that ticket prices do not need to be increased this year.
  • There will not be any paper tickets… all tickets are electronic and sent via email to you by Ticketmaster.  Electronic tickets can be transferred to friends and family.
  • It is highly recommended that you set up a Ticketmaster account BEFORE February 1 as it will make the purchasing process much easier and faster.  You must have a Ticketmaster account to purchase tickets.
  • Tickets are sold on a first come, first serve basis.  When selecting seats, please be aware of where the stage is.  In the past, we have had families mistakenly purchase last row seats thinking they were purchasing front row seats.
  • Current Highwood students DO NOT need a ticket.  They will be backstage with their class waiting for their time to perform on stage.
  • STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR PURCHASING TICKETS

We look forward to celebrating the Year of the Snake with you and your family and encourage everyone to wear a traditional Chinese outfit to the concert if they have one!
